Adam Crawford Adam Crawford has been in racing literally from the time he was born. His Dad, left the race track to be with his Mom during delivery and returned after he was born. From the short tracks across the Southeast to the high banks of Daytona Adam has lived racing. Along the way he's had the opportunity to meet some of NASCAR's biggest stars. Earnhardt and Petty impressed the young Crawford as, "pretty cool dudes". After working his last few summers as a mechanic in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Adam has become a fixture in the truck series garage. He's already been the spotlight of several Speedvision segments and was the stunt driver for Sears on ABC's Extreme Home Makeover show. While not working in the truck series, Adam has pursued his own driving career. Early on Adam's need for speed had him, tweaking bicycles, golf carts, motorcycles or anything with wheels. He and a friend even converted a Barbie Jeep to make laps in. Going fast is all he wanted to do. From making laps on a home made track in his Uncle Buddy's back yard, Adam progressed to the 600 Racing Bandolero's. Adam turned his first laps at Charlotte Motorspeedway in the Bandit division of the Summer Shootout. Like all young drivers Crawford worked at getting better and soon found success in his Alabama Grill Bandolero. His first win would come at Sunny South Raceway in Mobile during the Winter Shootout. That first victory would lead to his first track title later that year. This year Adam starts a new chapter in his racing career in the Circle Bar Truck Corral Ford Taurus late model. Adam's race team has assembled an impressive stable of Circle Bar horses for his first season with a pair of Port City Late Models ready for the 2006 campaign. Adam has prepared for the season by testing for a year at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina followed by an extensive testing program at Mobile International Speedway. The 2006 season will be busy with race dates starting on April 1. Away from the track Adam can be found on the golf course or helping his Uncle Buddy with his vintage Ranchero.
